Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Champion Institute of Cosmetology


Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Champion Institute of Cosmetology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

California students paid $13,850 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 16 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 4 students received grants or scholarships totaling $12,445 and 3 students took out student loans totaling more than $15,166.

Including all undergraduates (51), 15 students used grants or scholarships totaling $60,882, and 12 students took out $53,202 in federal student loans.
