Cost of college went up for all students at Art Center College of Design


Tuition and fees rose 3.4 percent for 2018-19 at Art Center College of Design, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

California students paid $43,416 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,408 more than the $42,008 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 61 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 125 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.6 million and 96 students took out student loans totaling more than $564,465.

Including all undergraduates (2,249), 1,236 students used grants or scholarships totaling $20.5 million, and 971 students took out $7.5 million in federal student loans.
