Graduates earn 4,051 degrees, certificates from Grossmont College


About 46.3 percent of the 4,051 degrees and certificates handed out by Grossmont College in 2017-18 were to students in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Cajon conferred 1043 certificates and 833 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies. Data shows the school gave out 1043 certificates in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies, followed by 689 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies and 306 associate's degrees in general business administration and management.

The college enrolled 18,288 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
