Graduates earn 2,486 degrees, certificates from Chapman University


About 25.9 percent of the 2,486 degrees and certificates handed out by Chapman University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Orange conferred 503 bachelor's degrees and 140 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 331 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 160 bachelor's degrees in cinematography and film/video production and 134 doctor's degrees in law.

The university enrolled 9,392 students for 2017-18, including 7,020 in undergraduate programs and 2,372 in graduate programs.
