6.5 percent of Biola University students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 6.5 percentage of Biola University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Biola University has 4,048 undergraduate students, of which 64 percent are women and 36 percent are men, and a total student body of 6,172 students. Of these students, 177 men and 226 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Biola University with the most participants are track and field, indoor (62), track and field, outdoor (62) and soccer (59).
