National Polytechnic College enrolls 144 undergrads


At National Polytechnic College, 54 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 74 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Lakewood enrolled 144 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

51 percent of undergraduates are residents of California.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (61 percent) and Asian (12 percent).
